Benefits of Using Ramie Fabric

Request a Quote
  • 01.

    Antibacterial, Anti-Dust Mite, and Odor-Resistant

Thanks to the unique ultra-fine pore structure within the ramie fibers, the fabric exhibits high adsorption capacity. When exposed to sunlight, the adsorbed harmful substances are volatilized, automatically regenerating the adsorption function. Ramie fibers are rich in various natural antimicrobial trace elements. They effectively inhibit the growth of bacteria and dust mites, providing antimicrobial and deodorizing effects. They also prevent secondary contamination of textile products caused by bacteria and dust mites. The antimicrobial effect remains at 99% even after 50 repeated wash cycles.
  • 02.

Excellent moisture-wicking and breathability, quick-drying and heat-dissipating properties

Ramie fibers have a grooved hollow interior and a porous wall structure. As a result, they offer approximately three times the breathability and moisture-wicking properties of cotton fibers.
  • 03.

    High strength, low elongation, mildew-resistant, abrasion-resistant, corrosion-resistant

Ramie fiber is extremely strong and tough, has low elongation, and offers excellent mold resistance and abrasion resistance. It is also highly resistant to deterioration caused by mold and pests, and is often referred to as “soft gold that does not rot for a thousand years.”
  • 04.

    Healthy and eco-friendly materials

It helps reduce skin irritation and itching. Ramie is an environmentally friendly crop that is grown without the use of chemicals and is resistant to various pests and diseases. Tests have confirmed that it meets the standards for use with infants and young children.
  • 05.

    UV Protection

Ramie fiber has a UV transmittance of less than 0.6 percent, and its resistance to UV rays is 41.7 times that of cotton.
